Blame CCP. Don't get mad at people for being bored to death with the game but refuse to lose SP cuz there's no SP pool. THE GAME IS BORING, PUB GAMES ARE BORING. There's ZERO reason to play other than pubstomp on 4-5 maps... there's that many? Seems like 3 maps on some days.
For people in the closed beta months before it went open beta, this build has been played to death! There are 2 reasons to play the game as of right now.
1) Skill points
2) ISK
Both you can get while AFK. You mad cuz people don't want to play the game, PUBS, but they are forced to in order to keep up with SP? You really THAT butthurt? How about not taking pub games so seriously, and even better yet, not take this beta build so seriously.
Direct your anger and butthurtery towards CCP, not your fellow gamers who have been playing this stale beta... for months with no new content. |

Boosting? Not really. It's a mechanic CCP put into the game. 5 sp a second? By standing still and not getting in the way of anyone, or going out of my to get SP is boosting now?

Give me a break! I normally I agree with your opinions, but not with this one. It's not a matter of new players, it's a matter of not losing your SP a week cuz CCP hasn't put in a pool for SP yet. If you don't hit your cap every week, that's SP lost never to be seen again.
So I won't be forced to play this dull beta just so I won't lose SP. Not the players fault that CCP doesn't have a pool, or that there hasn't been any new content for months. |

So then the Roll over system would stop you from AFKing? That's good to hear. I'm sure there's those would AFK anyway, but then again I don't actually care if people do... CCP should still figure out a way to stop them though.
The vast majority of people AFK do it cuz they'll lose SP. If there's a pool system in place, I'll get on and play DUST when I feel to, and get off when I'm tired of it without the fear of losing SP. Or I'll jut wait till new content is in place, then start back to play.
As it is I play maybe 2-3 hours and AFK the rest of my cap.

You are justifying your egotistical behavior with a really silly argument. Much like someone who steals stuff from a store because the storefront window was already broken with a huge gaping hole, and y'know, your argument is that because the window was obviously broken, you HAD to steal from the store because this was the only way that the store owners would notice that they needed to fix the window.

I'm egotistical for stating facts? The game is boring! How long have you been playing? I've been here since before E3 last year, and the frame rate still sucks. I'm not doing the game any favors? Do i want to? The friends I made try the game out, laughed at me. "You're spending money on that??!!!" is what they say.

Honestly, what game have you people been playing? 1 AFK player can cost people a game?...LOOOOOOL! Since when? 99% of the time it's a redline. Please enlighten me how 1 player would turn the tide of that snoozfest in progress. |

Clogging up a match? So you're actually saying 1 player will make a difference...ALL the difference in the game in the sense that it may, or may not be a redline. I can't improve the game, so I don't where you think I implied that. If I have anything to add on that matter I go over to the feedback section where all threads go to doe. Also I'm adding to the game's issues? Oh boy. It's my fault the game is boring? 4 maps for what, 4-5 months now? Frame rate issues for almost a year, and CCP refuse to give a ballpark guesstimate of when the update is coming...yeah, being AFK is sure killing this game
At this point, it's impossible for players to add anything substantial to the failure of this game, cuz CCP is doing a fine job at it already.
Not my fault CCP doesn't have a pool for lost SP. I'm not going to fall behind on SP unless I can't be online for a week. If there was a pool, I would not play this game till the update is out, but guess what, no pool. So you'll be seeing allot of AFK people in the mean time. Enjoy your stay
